Jiangyin Lingang Development Zone is restructuring its industrial ecosystem using a ‘chain-based approach’

News Report (Reporter Yu Shengtong) The Jiejiexi Digital Energy Equipment project, located in the Jiangyin Lingang Economic Development Zone, recently reached its topping-out stage, whilst the development of a new supply chain is also being accelerated in parallel. “From the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to Jiangyin, localising the supply chain can reduce our costs by 12–19 per cent, shorten delivery times by one-fifth, and increase the first-pass yield rate by 15 per cent.” remarked Li Xuejun, Chairman of Beijing Jiejiexi Technology Co., Ltd.

As companies based in the area become deeply integrated into the local industrial chain in Lingang, shifting from ‘shipping goods over a thousand li’ to ‘intra-city delivery’, cost reductions and efficiency gains have become tangible, concrete results driving growth.

“We primarily manufacture travel motors and slewing motors with plungers. These core components—the plungers—require extremely high precision, measured in thousandths of a millimetre. Currently, our localised production rate has reached 70 per cent,” ” explained Jin Yiping, Head of the Procurement Team at Doosan Hydraulic Machinery (Jiangyin) Co., Ltd. “Today, Jiangyin has the capacity to develop a localised industrial chain structure. Compared to previous reliance on imports from abroad—from logistics to components—costs can be reduced by 20–30 per cent. The second-phase factory is planned to achieve 99 per cent localised production.”

This ‘symbiotic supply chain’ model is generating a multiplier effect. Less than a 20-minute drive from Doosan, fully automated production lines are operating at high speed in the workshop of Jiangsu Dana Precision Bearing Co., Ltd. “This production line was developed specifically for Doosan. Currently, our annual supply value to Doosan stands at 18 million yuan, and is projected to reach 23 million yuan by 2026,” ” Liu Yu, Sales Manager at Jiangsu Dena Precision Engineering Bearing Co., Ltd., explained that the company specialises in bearings, precision hydraulic components and machined products. Over the nine years of its partnership with Doosan, it has invested a cumulative 25 million yuan in technological upgrades for Doosan projects. This has not only enabled the iterative upgrading of bearings and precision hydraulic products but has also driven the formation of a cluster effect among several surrounding supporting enterprises.

Dena Precision has been granted a patent for a bearing ring cleaning device designed to prevent parts from falling off

According to information from the National Intellectual Property Administration, Jiangsu Dena Precision Bearing Co., Ltd. has been granted a patent entitled ‘A Bearing Ring Cleaning Device’, with authorisation announcement number CN224358962U, filed in May 2025.

The patent abstract states that this utility model discloses a bearing ring cleaning device in the field of cleaning machinery. It comprises a cleaning tank with a connecting block fixedly mounted on its inner wall; a sliding support plate is fixedly mounted at the upper end of the connecting block; a slider is slidably engaged within the open guide rail of the sliding support plate; the lower end of the slider is slidably connected to a guide rail worm wheel; a worm shaft meshes with the gear below the guide rail worm wheel; a fixing column is fixedly connected to the central aperture in the worm wheel disc, and this fixing column is fixedly installed at the centre of the bottom of the cleaning tank; a rotating rod is fixedly installed in the aperture on the upper end of the sliding support plate; a movable brush rod is slidably mounted within the open-ended guide rail of the rotating rod; the upper end of the rotating rod is fixedly connected to Motor No. 1, which is in turn fixedly mounted on a motor mounting bracket. This utility model achieves the fixation of the bearing ring by manually placing it into the centre of the sliding support plate, utilising the engagement of the rotating rod with the central groove of the sliding support plate, and driving the movement of the worm gear via Motor No. 2, thereby preventing the bearing ring from falling out.
